The Mash House Restaurant & Brewery Beer Dinner Scheduled for Jan. 20
Rocky Top Hospitality Brewery and The Melting Pot to Host Beer Pairing Dinner
Raleigh, NC, January 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, has announced that The Mash House Restaurant & Brewery will partner with The Melting Pot: A Fondue Restaurant to host a beer pairing dinner on Thursday, Jan. 20 at The Melting Pot, located at 3100 Wake Forest Road. Zach Hart, brew master of The Mash House, and Mark Conway, proprietor of The Melting Pot, have developed the pairings menu, which includes a three-course menu, each course to be paired with a Mash House beer. Most notably being featured is Hart’s signature ‘Jacked Up’ Stout, which uses barrels from the Jack Daniels Distillery to infuse flavor into the award-winning beer.

- The first course will consist of a cheese fondue, with a choice of an apple cider Swiss cheese or bourbon bacon cheddar. Dipper items include soft pretzels, green apples, broccoli, and tortilla chips. The first course will be paired with Mash House IPA.
- The entrée course offers filet mignon, peppercorn New York strip, jumbo white shrimp, spinach and artichoke ravioli, or Provencal and duck a l’Orange. Each entrée is served with vegetables and bottomless sauces. The entrée course will be paired with The Mash House Nut Brown and Mash House Porter.
- The Chocolate Fondue dessert course will be paired with The Mash House ‘Jacked Up’ Stout.
