NC State Jenkins MBA Accepting Applications for Online MBA Program’s Inaugural Semester
Online MBA Program Application Deadline Set for May 15.
Raleigh, NC, January 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The NC State Jenkins MBA program (http://mgt.ncsu.edu/mba/) in the Poole College of Management has announced that applications are now being accepted for the inaugural fall 2011 semester of the online MBA program. Through the AACSB-accredited Online MBA program, students will complete their degrees in two years, with the same academic requirements as the working professional’s degree offered at the main and Research Triangle Park campuses. - Fifteen faculty members will deliver instruction for the Online MBA program, all of whom teach at the Jenkins MBA program’s main and RTP campuses as well.
- The online degree will consist of 45 credit hours at a cost of $30,600 for in-state students and $58,230 for out-of-state students.
- Jenkins expects to attract “road warriors” (those who travel often); “transients” who are likely to be transferred to other areas due to their jobs; members of the military; international students; stay-at-home mothers or fathers; and tech-savvy students who prefer an online method that utilizes technology as part of the instructional process.
- The majority of the Jenkins Online MBA instruction will be offered through NC State’s Distance Education & Learning Technology Partners (DELTA), using mostly asynchronous methods, including podcasts linked with PowerPoint, tools such as Camtasia and Elluminate, streaming video files, and online discussion boards.
