In a Sinner’s Heart is the story of Delbert D. Hobbs, born in 1953. A military brat, he moved around a lot, and after graduation he went into the military himself, did his time and then found out that he was a diabetic, type one. He was married twice, but neither marriage worked out.
After the military he went to a trade school, learned drafting and worked his way up to Machine Designer. During his second marriage, he bought some land on which he still lives today, in a small community in Eclectic, Alabama, not far from Wetumpka.
After having a lot of trouble with diabetes, including many black-out spells, he was put on a pump. Today the spells have almost stopped.
Not very long ago the Holy Spirit took control of his life, and all the troubles that he was facing have been taken away from him, except for the diabetes. His true belief is therefore in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, In a Sinner's Heart meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.

About the author:
Author Delbert D. Hobbs says about his book and himself: “I pray this will help someone, anyone, to understand the difficulties I had growing up in a difficult world of my generation. There will be some colorful words used, and I don’t want to hurt anyone, but this is the only way I know how to put it. There are many ways that the holy trinity works together in us to help to lead us, guide us, and tell us what we are doing wrong, not only in the heavenly way, but in every day life also. All we have to do is to listen. I didn’t realize until it was almost too late.
“When I felt the Holy Spirit in my heart, it was very strong. It made my feelings so strong that when the spirit would have me do something, I would bawl like a little school girl -- not because the spirit was telling me what to do, but because my emotions were so heightened. I felt that close to Christ.
“While writing this book, the spirit had me moving so fast that I wrote this in six and one half days on notebook paper. It took me almost two weeks to type it.
“Please, I beg you to listen to your feelings. If your heart is hurting, that’s a clue. Something is not right. If you read my story, I know some eyes will be opened, and just maybe I can be the Heavenly Farmer and plant that seed. Thank you.”
