Beasley & Henley Wins at Prestigious Best In American Living Awards

Winter Park, FL, January 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On January 13, 2011 the interior design work of Beasley & Henley Interior Design was honored at the 2010 Best in American Living Awards event (BALA). The ceremony took place in Orlando, FL at the annual International Builder’s Show.

Beasley & Henley was recognized for two of its many award winning projects; a Private Residence in Naples, FL and the Community Facility and Clubhouse at 5 East, in Atlanta, GA.

5 East is a 5000 sq ft chic urban multi-family complex in the heart of Atlanta. Beasley & Henley created it to be progressive, new and fresh; mixing modern design with the feel of an upscale resort and spa.

The BALA judges gave high marks to Beasley & Henley as the firm differentiated 5 East from its high-style competition by creating such details as a glass-enclosed conference room and closing room, stained concrete floors, sculptures, and sleek, draped walls. The interior designers’ bold artwork tied it all together and made a dramatic statement about the community.

Beasley & Henley's design for the furnishings and interior detailing of the Private Residence in Naples, FL was driven by the clients’ love for the modern arts. Beasley & Henley blended modern design with soft curves, forming an artistic expression for the client’s modern tastes.

Overall, the simplistic look of modern design fused with rich color tones and unexpected materials, such as onyx, glass tile, antique granite, Venetian plaster, horizontal staggered line tile, resin wave panels, grid-ceiling details and industrial cable lighting, created an artistically inviting atmosphere which the BALA judges appreciated.

Now in its 25th year, the BALA’s are the foremost residential design competition in the country. Builders, interior designers, architects, land planners, remodelers, developers and marketing and real estate professionals enter from all 50 states in 32 different categories of competition.
