Career Step Kicks Off New Year by Giving Away Textbooks to Help Students Succeed

Career Step is offering textbooks at no extra charge to all students who enroll before January 31, 2011.

Provo, UT, January 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, a leading online healthcare education company, is offering textbooks at no extra charge to all students who enroll in the month of January. These textbooks normally cost up to $350 in addition to tuition fees, but students who start training for a new career before January 31 can choose to add these valuable resources at no extra cost.

"Getting a new job or going back to school are some of the top New Year resolutions, and we've historically seen a lot of people very interested in training for new careers in January," said Ryan Ewer, Career Step Vice President of Enrollments and Marketing. "This year, we're helping students get started on those New Year resolutions by offering these textbooks, a valuable resource in helping students quickly work toward graduation, at no extra charge with new enrollments."

All of the Career Step training programs are offered entirely online, so textbooks are not required for graduation. However, companion textbooks are advantageous for those interested in studying away from the computer. Normally, adding textbooks to a student's enrollment can cost up to $350, but with January's offer, students can add these valuable resources for no additional cost.

Though the textbooks are optional, many Career Step students and graduates have found these books to be an important part of their learning process, both during the course and after graduation.

"In case anyone is trying to decide whether or not to get the text companion, I figured I would give my opinion. I absolutely love mine," said a student on the Career Step forum. "It makes it so much easier to go back and reference what I've already studied, and I can study even when I don't have access to my computer . . . Also, keep in mind that you will have access to all of the information in this program throughout the course of your career. That alone is so worth [it]."

If a student enrolling in January is not interested in adding the textbooks to their enrollment, they can choose to take up to $250 off their tuition instead.

These January offers are designed to help students get started on their New Year resolutions when the motivation to succeed is at its highest, and the textbooks offer students a tool that will help them reach graduation and provide a valuable reference tool after graduation.
