Vancouver, WA, January 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dick Hannah Honda announces it’s second annual Clark County High School education initiative, the Drive For Excellence – Drive to Excel. This exciting program is aimed at encouraging high school students in the Green Mountain, La Center, Battle Ground, Hockinson, Vancouver, Evergreen, Camas and Washougal school districts to improve their grade point average in the 2010-2011 school year by offering a new Honda CR-Z or $15,000 in cash to the winning student.
Each participating high school is represented by a faculty member and two student ambassadors who work with Dick Hannah Honda staff on an advisory panel. Their role is to assist in building peer awareness and to answer questions regarding the registration process. A media campaign is also under way on Facebook and local television and radio.
To become eligible a student must either maintain a 3.6 GPA for the current school year or boost their 2nd semester GPA by a 1/2 point. On July 8, 2011, a winner will be drawn from all eligible registrations with the grand prize winner choosing between a 2011 Honda CR-Z Hybrid or check for $15,000.
