Eilat, Israel, January 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Being held by the waters where Asia joins Africa and with the stunning backdrop of the red mountains, the 6th International Red Sea Chamber Music Festival will feature recitals of work by legendary composers.
Playing at the show will be leading performers such as pianist Paolo Giacometti, cellist Hillel Zori, Maxim Rysanov on the viola and sopranos Gemma Bertagnolli and Anna La Fontaine. The performers will be joined by a host of other international artists and some of Israel’s foremost musicians.
Music on each evening, from 17th to 26th March 2011, will range from piano recitals and chamber music to orchestral concerts and solo performances. Some of the famous pieces set to be played at the event include Brahms’ String Quartet, Bach’s Suite no.1 in G major, Op.131 and Debussy’s La Cathedrale Engloutie.
