Additional Center Parcs Exclusive Lodges Screeded with FlexiDry Fast Drying Floor Screed
Following the successful installation of FlexiDry fast drying floor screed in the new Exclusive Lodges at the Center Parcs Longleat Forest Holiday Village last year, a further five of the luxury lodges are being built at the Elveden Forest Village.

The two storey luxury lodges are designed for families or friends who are looking for complete relaxation and feature four en-suite bedrooms, a games room plus an external spa area with steam room, sauna and hot tub in their own enclosed garden. The lodges are set amidst the surrounding forest environment which is both protected and enhanced.
Center Parcs revolutionised the holiday market in the UK when it opened its first village at Sherwood Forest in 1987, offering short break holidays on a year round basis. Center Parcs occupies a unique position enjoying enviable annual occupancy rates in excess of 95% with the provision of an exceptional short break experience in a forest location.

FlexiDry fast drying floor screed was the ideal choice for these new build projects as it suitable for internal and external use and it is water repellent unlike anhydrite and traditional sand and cement screeds. A FlexiDry screed can also be laid to falls, unlike flowing floor screeds, and can be used for taking up intolerances, being laid at thinner depths due to its high compaction.
FlexiDry fast drying floor screed has been adopted by most major contractors due to its reliable dry times, with a choice of 3, 7, 14 or 21 days, which do not totally depend on a controlled 20 deg C and 50% RH giving project planners confidence and reliability removing the need for expensive surface DPM’s.
