LatPro’s 2011 Diversity Job Fair Series Launches in Houston
The National Diversity Job Fair Series, sponsored by LatPro and the National Society for Hispanic Professionals, will be held on February 17 at the Westin Galleria.
Houston, TX, January 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Diversity job board LatPro (www.LatPro.com), in partnership with the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), is launching its 2011 diversity career fair series with an event for Hispanic and Bilingual professionals in Houston, Texas. The event will be held at the Westin Galleria on Thursday, February 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The job fair provides a unique opportunity for diversity-conscious employers to meet with professional candidates who have developed language and multicultural skills. The February fair will kick off LatPro’s 2011 season of nine diversity career fairs which will be held across the United States for Hispanic and bilingual professionals.
The career fair returns to Houston without hesitation after highly successful events in previous years.
“We base our schedule on jobseeker and employer demand, and in four previous years we have found Houston to be one of the most successful locations for a career fair because of the high caliber of jobseekers and the high concentration of diversity-conscious employers in Houston,” said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP.
Jobseekers attending the 2011 Houston Diversity Career Fair will have the opportunity to network with fellow Hispanic professionals and local chapters of Latino organizations, in addition to meeting representatives from employers such as PPG Industries, United Health Group, and FMC Technologies.
