Minicom's New DX Server Direct Provides Direct Access To KVM Managed Servers In The Data Center
Minicom Advanced Systems, a leading provider of KVM, Serial, and remote access server management solutions, has begun delivery of the DX Server Direct.
Jerusalem, Israel, September 12, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Minicom Advanced Systems, a leading provider of KVM, Serial, and remote access server management solutions, has begun delivery of the DX Server Direct.
The DX System is a matrix KVM solution to help mid size businesses centralize KVM access, Serial control, user administration, and power management in the data center. The new DX Server Direct is a compact accessory to the system that provides a more efficient way of gaining direct access to your servers for emergencies or maintenance.
The DX Server Direct lets you bypass the DX and connect directly to the server, either at the rack or at the DX Central unit, which can be located up to 100m/330ft away from the actual server. If failure occurs in your data center and you need direct access to a server, you can use the DX Server Direct as a crash cart to give you direct control of the server.
Benny Hayumi, Minicom's Product Manager says "IT managers in charge of managing large data centers need the confidence to know that they can access their servers 24/7 regardless of system failure. The DX Server Direct gives them that confidence by providing additional redundancy to the system."
