Event Synopsis:

Fallout from the financial meltdown has made its way to the auditors of failed institutions. Stepped up enforcement activities by S.E.C. and P.C.A.O.B. have driven auditors to rethink how they work with their clients. Many are now on the brink of facing litigation arising from their client's bankruptcy or having to issue a restatement of the financials. People are asking the question: why didn't the auditor spot holes in the financials sooner? As the scope of auditors' liability broadens, even private litigators and investors may have the ability to pursue lawsuits against auditors.

Key topics that will be covered:
- Fraud
- Regulatory agency cases
- Congressional involvement
- Protecting yourself from litigation
- Up to the minute regulatory updates
