Entrepreneur and Comedian, Thomas Hayes, to Deliver Keynote Address at Tech10 Awards Event
Hayes to combine real-world experience and offbeat humor in discussion of innovation and the future of technology.
Providence, RI, January 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Entrepreneur, Comedian, and Master Storyteller, Thomas Hayes, will deliver the keynote address at the Tech10 Awards Red Carpet Celebration event on January 26th, 2011 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the RISD Museum of Art’s Chace Center in Providence.
To an audience of the state’s most accomplished IT and Entrepreneur talents and supporters, Hayes will combine his real-world experience as an international online animation and toy company entrepreneur with his critically acclaimed comedic humor to explore innovation and entrepreneurship as well as the future expansion of technology within that role.
In addition to his entrepreneurial success, Hayes brings a multifaceted background, including world traveler, extreme sports enthusiast, stand-up comedian, successful corporate executive, and an overall zest for life enthusiasm.
“The technology and entrepreneurial space is a passion near to my heart and career,” said Hayes. “Our partnership of technology and entertainment is breaking new ground and expanding the boundaries of what is possible. It is with great pleasure that I am able to share the Tech10 stage with so many talented and accomplished technology professionals.”
“Innovation transpired in so many ways,” said Josh Fenton, co-founder of GoLocalProv.com. “We believe that Tech10 is an entirely different approach to your grandfather’s awards dinner. We are recognizing the smartest technologies – the doers who are building Rhode Island’s economy. Thus, we are delivering an event that is fun, smart, and leverageable.”
“Tech10 is about honoring Rhode Island’s brightest IT and entrepreneurial talents,” said Kathie Shields, executive director of Tech Collective, “as well as identifying and encouraging them forward to step up as the future leaders and influencers of our state. It seems only right to welcome Tom to speak to this occasion, as he knows what it is to have to push forward, take risks, and hold faith in yourself and your innovation. Tom’s own technology and entrepreneurial experience and success coupled with his humor and master storytelling, will be an engaging, encouraging, and celebratory addition to Tech10.”
The Tech10 awards are presented by Tech Collective and GoLocalProv.com in recognition of Rhode Island’s 10 most accomplished IT practitioners and entrepreneurs. For award winners, more information, and to attend, visit www.Tech10Awards.com.
