International Profit Associates President Invited to Serve on Two U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committees
Buffalo Grove, IL, September 12, 2005 --(PR.com)-- International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) President Gregg M. Steinberg has been invited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to continue to serve as a member of the Council on Small Business and on the International Policy Committee (IPC) for the 2005-2006 year.
The Council on Small Business is the primary policy-originating body for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the area of international policy committee. It serves the function of enabling the Chamber to more fully meet the needs of small business members and to help small businesses take more effective action on legislative, regulatory and political issues. Steinberg will provide expert help and advice to assist the Chamber in promoting small business policy and providing grass roots support that will serve to advance the policy.
The International Policy committee is the primary policy-originating originating body for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the area of international policy. This includes a review of critical choices facing the U.S. business community as Congress and the Administration consider such matters as unilateral economic sanctions, negotiation of multilateral, regional and bilateral trade agreements, China-U.S. economic relations, the World Trade Organization’s impact on U.S. commercial interests, the initiation of new efforts to further integrate the economies of the western hemisphere, the Asia-Pacific region, and Europe, changes in various U.S. trade laws and trade development programs and various "domestic" issues that bear directly on U.S. international competitiveness.
