Texas International Business Council to Participate in World’s Largest Industrial Technology Trade Show

Texas-based exporters and economic developers will be received at world-renowned HANNOVER MESSE, 4-8 April 2011, in Hannover, Germany.

Princeton, NJ, January 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Texas International Business Council (TIBC) will participate in the HANNOVER MESSE 2011, the world's leading showcase for industrial technology and conventional and renewable power generation. The mission from the Lone Star State will have its own pavilion to showcase renewable energy and clean tech solutions as well as wireless and semiconductor technologies for the automotive and industrial electronics industries. Throughout the five days of the show, the delegation will also meet with leading European businesses, trade groups and political representatives.

Mortada Mohamed, Executive Director of the TIBC, notes that, “Particularly in difficult economic times it is important that our manufacturers diversify their bottom line by means of exporting. The German example is proof positive that revving up one’s international sales is the way to economic recovery and helps balance results even in the face of volatile domestic markets. HANNOVER MESSE will facilitate the kinds of international networks, partnerships, and trade relations Texas companies will need to succeed in the future. At the same time we go to Hannover to invite investment to Texas. Recently voted the 2010 winner in CNBC’s ‘Top States for Business’ Survey, Texas scores top ranks for tax climate, cost of doing business and qualified labor supply. We want the world to know that we are the leading investment destination in the U.S. and are looking to the HANNOVER MESSE, a show that is unique in its international reach and coverage of leading edge technologies, as the ideal platform. The City of Austin is a center for trade and investment in its own right, and it is the first partner to come on board for this exciting new program and I expect many more to follow.”
