Caledonian Management Group Launches Caledonian Acquisitions

Dallas, TX, January 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Caledonian Management Group (CMG) announced today that its acquisition arm, Caledonian Acquisitions, has formally launched and opens 2011 with a number of viable opportunities already in the process of being finalized.

Caledonian Acquisitions initial targets are comprised of companies with annual revenues ranging from $1 million - $10 million. Targeted verticals include marketing/advertising, IT/managed services, payroll/bookkeeping, and logistics. These verticals have shown great promise for building a strong base of services for CMG. "We're already in discussions with a number of marketing and IT services companies," says Chris Ducret, Partner with CMG. "The response to our initial phase of acquisition offers has been substantial. In fact, because of the number of opportunities, we are able to be very selective in which companies become part of the Caledonian Management brand."

Backed by a substantial level of private equity funding, CMG is looking to finalize 12-15 acquisitions this year that will further expand its capabilities for providing a thorough, multi-pronged approach to companies seeking to improve their efficiencies, market share, and profit growth. Caledonian Acquisitions is also stepping up acquisition activities in the banking arena. Senior partners are currently in advanced-stage discussions with two banks, and have initiated early stage discussions with four additional banks. "Banks are struggling right now," states Ducret. " We will be closing on a deal that injects five million dollars into a bank that is facing serious trouble due to delinquent and bad mortgages. Everyone knows it's not a pretty situation out there, and we're taking action to help improve it."
