The Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts returns February 5 - 6, 2011 with the country’s finest artists and an expansive selection of their finest work. The artistic media represented include paintings, life size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $20,000 metal sculptures. Admission is free and open to the public.
This two-day festival will once again transform four blocks of A1A/Dixie Highway starting at Bridge Road and continuing south on AIA, into a first class outdoor art gallery. This highly anticipated art festival, produced by Howard Alan Events and hosted by the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, attracts locals and tourists alike. The artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges, are hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America.
The artists will be on-site for the entire duration of the show available to talk about their art and inspiration. “This is a great opportunity to explore the work of many different artists in one setting,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “Festival goers are able to make that personal connection with the artist which makes their investment and purchases more meaningful.”
