ZI Solutions LLC Chosen by Verus Claims Managment to Continue Transformation of Claims Management System
ZI Solutions LLC, an IT Software Consulting and IT Software Development Company announces that they have been selected by Verus Claims Services to develop a state of the art Claims Management System.
Princeton, NJ, February 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ZI Solutions LLC, an IT Software Consulting and IT Software Development Company, announced today that they have been chosen by Verus to deliver the next phase of the Verus Claims Management System (CMS).
Versus Claims Services, LLC, of Hopewell, New Jersey, specializes in processing claims related to bankruptcy trusts, class action settlements, and mass torts.
"We're building upon work done previously for this client in the spring and summer," said Matthew Bush, ZI's Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Professional Services. "In that first phase, we provided a new framework for replacing an old system. This time, we will be expanding the transformation into other areas and we will provide enhancements that give Verus a strategic advantage in their industry."
The objectives of this phase of the work will be to equip Verus CMS with a new portal that allows law firms to upload claims automatically for processing and to view the status of claims. The portal will consist of distinct, but integrated modules that can be reused easily and customized for different trusts or class action settlements. Other key deliverables include a new administrative tool that allows the application to be configured quickly for new Verus clients, and enhanced modules for reporting and payment processing. The system will be upgraded to SQL Server 2005, and will be based on ASP .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005.
Mark Eveland, President of Verus, said: "Both we and our clients have been extremely pleased with the quality of the earlier work done by ZI. That was one of the main reasons we selected ZI again."
Matthew Bush noted that the schedule is aggressive. "ZI is up to the challenge," he said. "We have a great team of .NET specialists who are expert in the latest technologies and techniques of development."
ZI has enlisted the help of PWI, Inc., of Red Bank, New Jersey, to solidify the project's technical foundation.
"PWI is pleased to assist ZI with this second phase of development for Verus," said PWI's CEO, Greg Salvato. "We have a common commitment to delivering high-performance applications that not only meet current needs, but also use core technologies that can evolve with the client's business."
According to Brian Zecher, ZI's President and CEO, ZI will have end-to-end responsibility for all deliverables. "This latest initiative for Verus is another step forward for us in building a project-based line of business."
