Abbie Rhode's Psychedelic Spectacle to Give Anniversary Burlesque Show
The only burlesque troupe in St. Paul, MN throws their one year anniversary show on Friday, February 11th, 2011. Titled "The Las Vegas Strip!," birthday celebration will showcase burlesque dancers, musicians, singers, belly dancers, comedians and drag queens. The Friday night show at Station 4 will be an entertaining way to start off the Valentine weekend, or just a fun Friday night on the town.
Saint Paul, MN, January 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, February 11th, the only burlesque/variety show in St. Paul will celebrate its first year as a troupe. Abbie Rhode's Psychedelic Spectacle will present: the "Las Vegas Strip!", a birthday party with a Vegas theme. The show will feature burlesque dancers, singers, drag queens, belly dancers, musicians and a comic magician with a penchant for puppet arson. Inspired by 60's era British culture, experimental art, rock music and--naturally--the Beatles, the Spectacle welcomes a huge variety of acts to their show. Abbie Rhode's Psychedelic Spectacle's performs the 2nd Friday of every month. Puppet fire-eaters, boy-lesque, stand-up comedy, quick-change artists and carnival stunts have trod the boards in the Psychedelic Spectacle. February 11th's show will be amusing entertainment for Twin Citians who want a great night out. The doors open at 8:00pm and the show starts at 9:00pm in Station 4; 201 East 4th Street, Lowertown St. Paul, MN. The Psychedelic Spectacle is a 21+ event. Tickets are $7 at the door, but can be purchased in advance for $5 online at http://www.backstageattheburlesqueshow.com. The "Las Vegas Strip!" burlesque celebration will be a titillating, fun start to the Valentine weekend.
