Community Cafe to Open in Sonoma in March, 2011
Sonoma, CA, January 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Breakfast and lunch venue also to feature private dining.
Partners Margie Tosch-Brooke and Willy Brooke along with Robert and Cindy Friedman have announced plans to take over the Mondo American Beer Garden location at 875 W. Napa St. in Sonoma and open a breakfast and lunch restaurant called “Community Cafe and Catering.” In addition to serving breakfast and lunch, the space will also provide the community with a much needed private event location in the evenings, with catered private dinners, parties or available meeting space. “As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, monthly dinners will be hosted, each to benefit a local non-profit,” said Tosch-Brooke
The new venture, that will be managed by Tosch-Brooke and Robert Freidman, will be offering local home-style cuisine, with a menu that will change based on the season and what is available locally to “celebrate the bounty of Sonoma.” The partners will be focusing on making the venue a place where locals can gather and read the morning paper, grab a cup of coffee or check their email with the complimentary WiFi network. The cafe will be serving fresh breakfasts and lunches, including soups, salads and signature specials.
