15" of Snow and RE/MAX Classic Still Stays Open for Business
Wayne, PA, January 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The past couple of days have brought lots of snow to Philadelphia and its surrounding areas. Schools, transportation, and businesses left and right have been closing their doors due to the weather. But brothers and business partners Brett and Scott Furman of RE/MAX Classic are the exception.
The Furman brothers are accustomed to providing their clients with the highest level of service that they wouldn’t allow a snowstorm to stay in their way. They installed a telephone system, into their home computers, that allowed for RE/MAX Classic to remain open.
“The new telephone system played big dividends to the employees, agents and clients,” said Brett Furman. Senior Commercial Associate Jim Mealey with RE/MAX Classic - Commercial division has been even more appreciative of the technology. “I had a caller earlier in the week contact me about selling their office building. I called Broker/Owner, Brett Furman to obtain the caller’s number since the caller's cell phone battery stopped working in the middle of the call. Within five minutes Brett provided the callers identity and contact number. I am overwhelmed by the capability of their technology.”
The inclement weather helped RE/MAX Classic to take advantage of mobility options offered by their Nortel Telephone System. The RE/MAX Classic staff was able to work from home by answering and returning clients calls right from their laptops. “It's a simple solution that our technology consultant installed when they upgraded our telephone system,” said Scott Furman, “we never would have expected the winter we have had thus far, but our upgraded technology system has certainly come in handy.”
