Puddle Town Woodworking "Give Back" Program
For every 20 custom DFTP desks manufactured, Puddle Town Woodworking will donate 1 custom desk to a person with a disability. The goal is to assist persons with disabilities to create a custom desk to fit their needs and wheelchair. Puddle Town Woodworking will design, manufacture and deliver locally this free custom desk
Portland, OR, February 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Owner Kenny Lipowski of Puddle Town Woodworking is an Oregon self employed Custom Artisan Woodworker and is developing a line of furniture (DFTP) of custom manufactured desks specializing in Tall People & Disabled Persons.
Puddle Town Woodworking has a mission in mind to help the less fortunate by donating 1 desk for every 20 DFTP manufactured. Each donated desk will be donated to a person with a disability (preferably) a veteran in a wheelchair that would benefit from a custom desk that is suited to fit their wheelchair. Even though these economic times are difficult in this industry, Puddle Town Woodworking is making a personal mission to "Give Back."
Puddle Town Woodworking has spent nearly 19 years performing custom woodworking in High-End Multi Million Dollar homes. Owner Kenny Lipowski comments "I want to use my skillset and Give Back" also commenting on how it is important for Puddle Town Woodworking to participate in times of need for others. Hoping to assist Disabled American Veterans locally in the Portland, Oregon metro area in having a custom desk made to fit their lifestyle, their wheelchair and space in their home or office.
Puddle Town Woodworking is currently coordinating with vendors to donate materials for our FIRST project. Contacts are being made to local agencies such as Disabled American Veterans (DAV) local Oregon chapter in an attempt to locate a recipient. The first donated desk will be the launch and thereafter for every 20 DFTP custom desk manufactured 1 will be donated.
