Military Brats Phoenix Conference

The Military Brats Registry completes its 10th year online with the kickoff of the "Every Brat Has a Story" conference and workshop events to help those who grew up in the military the opportunity to learn more about their unique lifestyle.

Redlands, CA, February 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The "Every Brat Has a Story" conference brings the successful workship featuring Mary Edwards Wertsch, author of the groundbreaking book "Military Brats: Legacies of Childhood Inside the Fortress" and a viewing and discussion of the documentary film, "Brats: Our Journey Home"  to the city of Phoenix, Arizona on March 31 and April 1, 2007.

The "Every Brat Has a Story" concept was created by Marc Curtis, creator of the Military Brats Registry. According to Marc, "Military Brats share their stories in an atmosphere where they aren't concerned about being believed or that they are bragging because others in the group have also 'been there, done that'! These events are designed to allow a free flow of discussion among people who grew up in a very unusual culture."

The event is being presented at the Heard Museum at 2301 North Central Ave in Phoenix on March 31 and April 1, 2007.  Additional conferences are being planned this year in Colorado Springs, CO; Austin, TX; and Virginia Beach, VA.
