Dick Hannah Helps to Make the Holiday Season Bright for The ARC of Clark County

Vancouver, WA, February 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dick Hannah Dealerships along with their employees generously donated $4000 in holiday gifts and a $1000 check to The ARC of Clark County. A representative from each of their stores shopped for various gifts using individual holiday wish lists then beautifully wrapped and delivered them to the ARC for distribution to the thirty-two individuals.

ARC is one of the first organizations in the nation to focus on the welfare of persons with developmental disabilities. Since 1936, The ARC of Clark County has provided services locally to tens of thousands of persons with developmental disabilities and their families in Southwest Washington. In the process, it has tirelessly promoted the acceptance and inclusion of people of all abilities, advocated for the most current research-based improvements, and opened new doors in helping people achieve a lifetime of success.

“It was such a relief when Dick Hannah Dealerships adopted all remaining 32 people. Times are hard right now and we were not getting the donations we usually do. Usually there are quite a few repeat donors that will take about 5 or 6 people. We all were wondering how we were going to provide for these people and Dick Hannah Dealerships really took a load off,” said Brandie Nere, of ARC of Clark County.
