The 2nd Annual Downtown Bradenton Craft Festival returns February 12 - 13, 2011 with the country’s finest crafters. Barcarrota Boulevard will once again be transformed into an outdoor craft showcase with unique and affordable crafts on display and for sale. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Realize Bradenton welcomes American Craft Endeavors to the City of Bradenton,” said Johnette Isham executive director of the Realize Bradenton. “The festival brings another high-profile event to our downtown, which will benefit our citizens, visitors and businesses. ACE’s interest in bringing a craft festival to downtown Bradenton highlights the city's cultural attractions and Bradenton Downtown Development Authority and Realize Bradenton’s work in promoting downtown as a destination for arts, culture and heritage.”
Whether you are a craft enthusiast or looking for that unique one-of-a-kind gift item, there is something for everyone at this family friendly festival. A full spectrum of craft art mediums including folk art, pottery, handmade jewelry, paintings, personalized gifts, handmade clothing, scented soaps, body products, and much more will be featured with prices ranging from as little as $3 to $3,000.
In order to ensure a superior event with quality affordable original crafts, all of the local and national crafters have been hand-selected from hundreds of applicants by American Craft Endeavors, the largest producer of craft fairs in the country. All crafters will be present for the duration of the festival available to discuss their art and inspiration. The festival takes place on Bacarrota Boulevard along the beautiful Manatee River.
