ECC Technologies Announces New Executive Advisor of Strategic Sales
With more than 25 years of experience, the new Executive Advisor was selected to work extensively on ECC Technologies’ Medicare Network Services.
Penfield, NY, February 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- ECC Technologies (http://www.ecctec.com), the global leader in full service technology and communications consulting, announced today that is has hired Shig Kimoto as the new Executive Advisor of Strategic Sales for their RAPID Network (http://ww.rapid-network.com). In this role, Mr. Kimoto will be responsible for growing the RAPID Medicare Services Network. His role will immediately involve implementing and strategizing effective business plans, and overseeing the Medicare Part A, Part B, and DME programs.
Mr. Kimoto brings with him more than 25 years of significant experience in the health care field, management, and an extensive working relationship with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services). As a Director of EDI Services at National Government Services (NGS), a subsidiary of WellPoint Inc, he directed all aspects of work performed in the EDI department. His accomplishments include:
· Strategized and championed in winning CEDI (Common EDI) Contract from CMS.
· Developed and executed EDI platform strategy, consolidation and standardization for NGS enterprise.
· Management of and responsible for bringing in 200 plus million claims annually into the NGS EDI Gateway.
Before taking over EDI for NGS as a result of Anthem/WellPoint merger, he served United Government Services (UGS), then a subsidiary of WellPoint Health Networks Inc, as Vice President of IT (Divisional CIO) serving Medicare Division.
Prior to joining ECC Technologies, he was a Strategic Sales Advisor at VisionShare Inc.
Mr. Kimoto currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and will be working remotely. He holds a Law Degree from Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan, as well as designation of CPHIT (Certified Professional in Health IT) and CIRM (Certified Identity Risk Manager).
