About Melinda Demsky Mehringer

Melinda Demsky is the Senior Vice President of Content Protection Litigation for Fox Entertainment Group. Her responsibilities include managing digital copyright and anti-piracy litigation for News Corp/Fox entities (including the film studio, television network, cable group, and internet companies such as MySpace). She also advises on content protection technology and policy within the company.

Melinda is an alumna of Stanford Law School, where she graduated with distinction and was elected to Order of the Coif. She also won various writing awards and the Moot Court Competition. Melinda also received her undergraduate degree from Stanford, with distinction.

Following law school, Melinda clerked for the Hon. Fern M. Smith of the Northern District of California in San Francisco. She practiced law at Munger Tolles & Olson, LLP, where she focused on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. She later served as in-house technology counsel for Yahoo!, and as Director of Corporate Development of digital rights management company, InterTrust Technologies Corporation. She joined Fox in 2002.
