Austin, TX, February 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Agile Interactive buys Simply Interactive
Agile Interactive, based in Ohio, has purchased Simply Interactive in Austin Texas in an effort to grow its presence in the Southwest. Lewis Talbert, principal at Simply Interactive, orchestrated the acquisition. It was his second merger in the past year and twelfth over the past decade. "Simply Interactive has a reputation for providing high quality work for many of the nation's Fortune 500 Companies. It was only a matter of time before we were noticed and acquired by a national firm," said Talbert
Simply Interactive was founded in 2001 by Ben Lamm, and has developed cutting edge interactive content and training for some of the biggest names in American Industry. "Simply's client base is what attracted me to the company. With clients like, Dell, Rand, Michelin, Travelocity, Meijer, Exxon, etc., I knew we could build upon that and grow," according to Mr. Talbert. Lewis Talbert of Austin Texas invested in the company 3 years ago with plans to help it grow and gain market share in the industry.
Over the past few years, Simply Interactive has tripled in size and become a leading player in the elearning and interactive development community. The merger with Agile will allow the company to grow and service a broader range of companies. "Agile brings the management structure we needed to handle the growth of our client base. They will help us increase market share and improve customer service. It seemed like a perfect fit," said Talbert.
Agile plans to keep the Austin office and continue operating as Simply Interactive. As resources are added, and the customer base grows, Austin should benefit from increased hiring. Amar Reddy will act as managing partner, and Talbert will take a minority role in the firm. Financial details of the acquisition were not made public.
