F1000 is also pleased to announce that they have finalized an agreement to work with the Biochemical Society to provide the scientific community with ongoing free access to posters presented at Biochemical Society meetings, including their prestigious Annual Symposium and Harden Conferences. This will be provided through F1000 Posters (http://f1000posters.com), the new open access repository of posters from across biology and medicine. F1000 is a unique online service that ranks the top 2% of biomedical articles across an array of specialist fields. Articles are selected by the 10,000 experts in the international F1000 Faculty, who have been nominated by their peers as highly respected in their chosen fields. The Faculty uses a unique rating system to identify the highest quality papers and explain why they are important.

Existing affiliates in the F1000 Affiliate Program include the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), The Royal Society and The Physiological Society.
