NoPayPOKER.com Vadnais Freeroll Series Shows the Quality of Free Poker Players
At the beginning of 2011 retired professional circuit poker player D M Vadnais challenged all to beat him in the Vadnais freeroll series on NoPayPOKER.co. The results have proven, to a startling degree, that free poker players really can play great poker and most certainly are not all donks.
London, United Kingdom, February 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- At the start of January leading online free poker games site NopayPOKER.com launched a freeroll series where resident site professional and retired professional circuit poker player D M Vadnais acts as bounty target, player and poker teacher.
The results have proven that not all free poker players are chip flinging donks and, that many play poker at a level that would not be out of place in high stakes cash games.
The criticism, which does have fair basis, often levelled at free poker sites, is that they are full of donk players who do not care about playing poker well and bet wildly as there is no risk and they can simply start over of they lose everything.
The results from the Vadnais free roll series are now clearly debunking the myth that it is impossible to find quality poker players and games on free poker sites.
It sees that having D M Vadnais present in the combined bounty, player, mentor role is bringing out the best efforts from players at all levels. He comments “apparently it’s fun to beat up on a retired professional poker player.”
Results and Observations:
Tangible high quality play has been a dominant factor. Mediocre or donk play is noticeable by its absence.
D M Vadnais has recorded an average finish of 5th over the course of 56 games and has won 8.
1. 7 other players have each won 2 games.
2. The average attendance has been 110 players.
3. Bonus Chip usage is 50 to 80 thousand chips per game.
NoPayPOKER marketing manager, Nick Moseley says, “We are very pleased with progress to date. The aim of the series, aside from the obvious fun of playing, is to encourage free poker players new and old to develop their quality of play in order to be able to, should they wish, to graduate upward to real money games and win consistently.”
The games are played everyday at 11:45 am EST and 2:00 pm EST (4.45pm and 7pm GMT) at NoPayPOKER.com
