EVENTjournal.com Expands Into Texas, Georgia and Arkansas

Event Journal, Inc. reported the company’s plan for growth beyond the NY Metro area has been actualized with recent agreements signed with fundraising organizations in Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas.

Bethpage, NY, February 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Event Journal, Inc. reported the company’s plan for growth beyond the NY Metro area has been actualized with recent agreements signed with fundraising organizations in Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas. “We have a product that meets the needs of any organization looking to raise funds with special events in this day and age. Our growth plan included expanding our presence nationwide. It’s rewarding to see our goals are being realized,” say Karen Perry, President and Founder.

Since the company was founded in 2002 in Long Island, NY, its clients have been primarily located in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area only because of proximity, not that the service was only suited for this area. The service is actually a perfect fit for fundraising professionals everywhere in a wide variety of nonprofit organizations including, but not limited to, foundations, schools, hospitals, etc.

The company’s lead product, EVENTjournal.com, is the original “e-journal” alternative to printed ad journals traditionally distributed at fundraising galas. The EVENTjournal.com system helps nonprofits raise more money by maintaining the journal as a revenue stream for the event, but upgrading its features and fundraising opportunities with a web-based platform and other multi-media vehicles.

One of the recently acquired clients is the CARES Foundation, nationally headquartered in New Jersey. The organization serves a constituency that, while small in numbers, as a hormonal disease disorder (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia,) causes life-altering symptoms among its population, beginning in infancy. Its “Everyone Cares Gala” provides much needed funds for its work of research, education and support for families affected by this condition. This year, the Gala is being held in Fort Worth, Texas and is supported by its EVENTjournal.com e-journal that can be viewed at http://CARESGala.org. The organization has chosen Event Journal’s e-journal product to encourage donations from supporters across the country; a strategy not easily accomplished had they employed traditional paper vehicles for outreach for the event.

The Amit Program, a Jewish special education facility based in Atlanta, came on board this Fall. The program services children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Its EVENTjournal.com site, http://AmitJournal.org, is the portal for all of its special events throughout the year. This allows donors to contribute to the program and receive recognition throughout the year, as supporters use the site for event information and to buy tickets and to make online donations.

Arkansas State University’s Mountain Home campus is home to the Trout Nature Center, a resource center for educational and environmental exhibits about trout life and trout fishing. ASU-MH also joined Event Journal’s client base in support of a celebratory benefit to announce the grand opening of the facility in April, 2011. Its EVENTjournal.com site, http://TroutNatureCenterBanquet.com, will reach out to potential donors nationally as the university honors two gentlemen who have made significant contributions to the trout fishing and environmental education field, both of whom have supporters nationwide.

To continue and encourage its expansion across the country, in upcoming months, the company will be exhibiting at professional conferences in Boston, Newport and Chicago. Karen Perry will also be a featured speaker at an upcoming conference on Special Events fundraising for colleges and universities in September in Los Angeles.

The EVENTjournal.com system elevates the ad journal or program book distributed at major fundraising events to a new level, incorporating the benefits of the Internet. EVENTjournal.com helps organizations increase outreach, generate increased revenue and reduce administrative workload. For more information about Event Journal, Inc. visit www.eventjournal.com.
