Richard Einarson joins Chaordix as Vice President, Client Services and Marketing. Richard brings 12 years of experience in the software industry in a variety of senior leadership roles and recent citizen engagement experience as the Communications Director for the internationally-recognized Nenshi mayoral campaign.

Einarson brings over 12 years of experience in the software industry in a variety of leadership roles with a wide range of responsibilities from sales and marketing to product management and client implementation.
Most recently, Einarson was also the Communications Director for the successful “Naheed Nenshi for Mayor” campaign in Calgary, Alberta. He was responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the campaign’s highly effective social media engagement program that has gained worldwide recognition, including coverage by CNN, CBC and Reuters Africa. The Nenshi campaign has been widely regarded as a model for the successful use of social media, grassroots citizen engagement, and crowdsourcing strategies during an election campaign. Richard also directed development of the campaign’s visual identity, online advertising, broadcast communications, and all five campaign websites.
