Modelrific Brings the Modeling Industry Into the 21st Century with New Social Network
Modelrific.com, a new social network combining the features of Facebook with the talent and structure of the modeling industry creates a virtual modeling industry complete with photographers, models, agencies, publications, stylists and more.
Las Vegas, NV, February 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The modeling industry has been quietly transforming from an exclusive club to a web-accessible industry over the past five years and various websites have attempted to fill the role of social network for the models, photographers, artists, agencies, and others that make it up. A renowned glamour photographer and internet business entrepreneur have partnered to launch Modelrific.com, a social networking website created specifically for the modeling industry and the professionals within it.

President and Co-Founder Geoff Sanders used his experience as a professional photographer in the industry as a guide when developing the tools, features, and capabilities that Modelrific.com has as well as the future online tools currently in development. “Most websites out there have little to offer the industry outside of a place to host some photos,” explained Sanders, “but we’ve created Modelrific from the perspective of an individual in the industry. Our online tools and programs are catered to your specific role within the industry whether you’re a model or a casting director.”
Unlike most of their competition, Modelrific.com features privacy controls, activity feeds, multi-user messaging, @mention ability, Facebook and Twitter integration, the ability for members to create public or private groups, and much more.
Modelrific.com (beta) went live with a soft launch on January 24th and will be launching a variety of new site features throughout 2011 such as instant chat capability, expanded business membership types, and a mobile app to name a few. However, as Sanders explained, “Modelrific is more than just a website, it’s a modeling industry brand. While models and photographers will build their networks on Modelrific.com they’ll take part in Modelrific workshops held around the country, participate in our various modeling competitions and castings, and be seen by a world-wide audience through our network of websites and publications.”
Models, photographers, and makeup artists, may currently signup for free at Modelrific.com and other professionals like clothing designers, stylists, agencies, and publications will be able to signup over the next couple of months.
