National Concierge Association Announces Support for the Education Center at The Wall
The National Concierge Association (NCA) announced today that it has adopted the Education Center at The Wall as a national philanthropic cause for the association.
Crystal, MN, February 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The National Concierge Association (NCA) announced today that it has adopted the Education Center at The Wall as a national philanthropic cause for the association.
“The Education Center at The Wall” (a 501(c)3 non-profit) will honor the memory of Vietnam veterans and educate visitors about the individuals who made sacrifices in the name of freedom. It will put a face with every name and tell the stories of those who served. In addition, the Education Center will celebrate the values exhibited by America’s service members, including: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Service, Honor, Integrity, and Courage.
The Vietnam Memorial holds the names of more than 58,000 men and women who gave their lives in service to our country during the Vietnam War. It is a memorial built by the American people, not to memorialize the war, but to honor and remember all who served and sacrificed during one of the longest and most divisive wars in our nation’s history.
By telling the stories behind the names, the Education Center will help visitors understand the courage, sacrifice and devotion of those who fell, those who returned, and those who waited.

About the Education Center at The Wall
The Education Center at The Wall is a learning facility being built on the National Mall near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to put faces to the more than 58,000 names on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and tell some of their stories. Exhibits will include a larger-than-life Wall of Faces that will show their pictures on their birthdays; a display of some of the 150,000 items that have been left at The Wall in tribute; and a timeline of events during the Vietnam War. The Education Center will showcase the values embodied by all of America’s service members and, in one special exhibit, will show images of those who served in all of America’s wars, illustrating the legacy of service that has been a hallmark of our armed forces from the beginning.
