Second Annual Bridal Show by Dover Downs Hotel & Casino to be Held Mar. 20

Dover, DE, February 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will present its Second Annual Bridal Show on Sunday, March 20, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Rollins Center ballroom. Informational seminars will also be held in breakout rooms. Admission is free and classes are free.

The event will showcase wedding planning tips and tools by industry professionals, a runway fashion show with wedding gowns and fashions by David’s Bridal at 1 p.m., complimentary makeovers, expert beauty advice and great door prizes. Chefs of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will prepare samplings of lavish hors d'oeuvres, entrees and desserts to be served throughout the event.

Educational classes will be presented by Planning Factory International to help navigate brides-to-be through the planning processes. At 11 a.m. in the Chesapeake Bay Room, “Will Your Wedding Flow as Beautifully as Your Gown?” will cover event space and flow, transition techniques, and the benefits of having a logistical coordinator.

At 12 p.m., in the Delaware Room, “It’s Going to Cost WHAT?” walks planners through determining budget and spend management, typically overlooked expenses, and cost savings techniques. Finally at 2 p.m. in the Silver Lake Room, “Current Color & Design Trends” features seasonal trends, how to use fabric and lighting to enhance the event, modern seating arrangements and options, and how to select the best linen and centerpiece design. All classes are free, with seating on first-come, first-served basis.

Top-notch area vendors will display wedding related services from initial planning to the honeymoon. Featured will be experts in photography and videography, wedding cakes, floral designs, catering, entertaining, spa and salon services, travel/honeymoon arrangements, rentals from tents to tableware, limousine services, jewelry, and much more.
