The app starts with a photo of a person and three colors buttons. The user simply clicks on a color button to change the color of the clothes. A color palette appears where the user can select a new color. The result is shown immediately in the photo. On the left of the screen are four smileys that evaluate the user’s choice. These color choices are optimal only when all smileys are smiling. By clicking on an unsatisfied smiley the user gets a message how to optimize the color combination. The top of the screen displays a text showing what most people associate with the color combination (e.g. intelligent). In other cases two pieces of clothes must be changed. The user must decide which colors he wants to keep before the results are presented. The more he wants to keep the less solutions will remain. The app contains a list of more than 100 associations and the corresponding color combinations. When the user selects an association the colors are applied to the photo. Often it can happen that the colors of a selected association do not match well (therefore the association is very strong). The user can try to optimize the colors but must be careful not to loose the association. A helpful tip is to stay in one color row when changing colors in the color palette.
