Elite Media Secures Marketing Rights for Prominent Phoenix Development

Las Vegas Company to Handle All Outdoor Advertising for CityScape Project

Phoenix, AZ, February 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Elite Media has secured the exclusive outdoor advertising rights to the $900 million, mixed-use CityScape project in downtown Phoenix.

As part of the agreement, Elite Media will be handling all outdoor building wrap and LED advertising for the project’s commercial buildings, including the 32-story office building that serves as CityScape’s focal point. The company plans on adding high profile, superior quality LED elements throughout the property, adding a “Times Square” feel to CityScape and downtown Phoenix.

CityScape is the only permittable ‘super graphic building wrap’ opportunity in downtown Phoenix, affording advertisers unique opportunities.

“Our long-term partnership with RED Development will allow us to market and install one of the largest outdoor building wraps in the United States,” said Elite Media CEO Chad McCullough.

Elite Media specializes in large-scale wraps of buildings and gained exposure in Phoenix for its work during the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. The company was responsible for a 60,000-square-foot banner ad that covered two sides of the Bank of America building in downtown Phoenix and featured the NBA’s top players.

The CityScape space is much larger, according to McCullough, and will allow the Las Vegas based company the opportunity to splash a 100,000-square-foot building wrap in the heart of an emerging downtown entertainment district. It also provides the perfect complement to the company’s transit division advertising, currently in place on more than 600 Discount Cab taxis across the Valley.

“Phoenix is on the brink of being a top 10 market,” he said. “It’s currently the 11th largest market according to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and a project such as CityScape is the type that can catapult the city into the top 10. From an advertiser’s standpoint, that’s huge.”

But McCullough said he sees this as only the tip of the iceberg for Elite Media. His company’s work with CityScape has the potential to help reinvigorate the downtown area, he said, especially given CityScape’s close proximity to U.S. Airways Center, the Phoenix Convention Center, METRO Light Rail and Chase Field, home of the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

“This project is along the lines of L.A. Live across from the Staples Center in Los Angeles,” he said. “Advertisers are going to gain the big exposure with CityScape, allowing them to take advantage of the only building wraps in downtown Phoenix. This is their chance to make a big impact with Phoenix consumers.”
