nSight Announces New Adobe® Training Workshops for Print and Web
Burlington, MA, February 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- As workplace demand for Web-based design skills continues to increase, nSight Inc. (www.nsightworks.com) has announced a full slate of public workshops for February and March on several popular Adobe® tools.
nSight, a content development and communications services firm and an Adobe® Authorized Training Center, is offering workshops to teach skills in producing both printed documents (including Adobe® InDesign® CS5) and Web-based content (Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS5 and Adobe® Flash® CS5).
Dan Cote, nSight’s Vice President of Marketing, indicated that many of the skills being offered have become “industry standard” as companies look for designers with a more versatile and diversified skill set.
“A lot of the people we have been teaching in nSight’s workshops lately are traditional print designers who are looking to acquire skills in creating web-based content. We are helping them develop expertise in Dreamweaver® and Flash®,” Cote said.
nSight’s workshops are also attracting people from traditional publishing companies who are looking to transition their products into eLearning formats, according to Cote.
“Some organizations have employees who are currently using the Adobe software® but need to deepen their knowledge and comfort level with the latest, upgraded versions,” Cote said. “There may be people who would benefit from increasing their familiarity with the software’s full capabilities or learning more efficient ways of doing a job. We can help them use these programs in the most productive way.”
Here are the Adobe® courses scheduled:
· Adobe® InDesign® for E-Publishing: Feb. 16
· Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS5: Basic: Feb. 23
· Adobe® Captivate™ 4.0: March 7
· Adobe® Flash® CS5: Basic: March 9-10
· Adobe® InDesign® CS5: Basic: March 23
· Adobe® InDesign® CS5: Advanced: March 24
In addition to workshops on the Adobe® tools, nSight is offering workshops in communications skills such as copyediting and business writing, as well as website development skills, such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML).
nSight also offers customized, client-site training for companies looking to upgrade the skills of multiple staff members.
Through its Training Rewards Program, nSight is offering a free day of training, at a $325 value, to clients who hire a content development or production specialist for at least 30 hours, or who sign a fixed fee project contract for at least $2,500.
