Citing a growing trend toward cloud hosting, Hostirian has begun offering five new cloud services, which are supported by multiple state-of-the-art servers. Each server/node features 74GB of high speed RAM and Dual Intel X5650 Hexacore processors on an N+1 architecture. All of the packages are hosted on 15,000 RPM SCSI drives in a RAID10 configuration, giving our customers outstanding disk performance while maintaining a high level of redundancy. Those servers are backed by a multi-homed 10Gbps Cisco network. Plus, high availability (HA)/Self Healing technology is standard on all of their Cloud Services.
High availability (HA) eliminates the need for dedicated standby hardware and software in a virtualized environment. Self healing has the ability to perceive that it is not operating correctly and, without human intervention, make the necessary adjustments to restore itself to normal operation. This means that cost is minimized for our clients, while speed and redundancy is maximized.
