Status Solutions’ Clinical Application Framework is designed to meet the complex requirements in an acute care environment. The Framework enables overall situational awareness by providing patient safety and alerting, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, health monitoring, workflow management and a bedside communication portal.
At the core of the Framework is the Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA) that integrates to multiple systems to provide a single point of management for enhanced alerting and reporting. Systems can include, Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Fire Panels, Infant Abduction, etc. SARA also improves operations by providing two-way patient/ nurse communication, broadcasting emergency codes, environmental monitoring via sensors (i.e. labs, server rooms, restrooms, pharmacies), device tracking and monitoring of various patient devices.
Other key components of the Clinical Application Framework include Status Solutions’ latest innovative solutions MIMI and CATIE. MIMI, powered by AFrame Digital, transfers Motion Into Meaningful Information. MIMI includes a discrete wristwatch monitor that works with wireless networks to automatically record and securely transmit the user's heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygenation (O2 Sat), weight, glucose, location, and activity patterns. Multiple individuals may simultaneously be monitored in the hospital, a rehab facility or even in their home for post acute care monitoring. The system also enhances in and out patient safety and security by maintaining a silent vigil to detect impacts due to a fall, changes in room temperature, and similar important safety factors. All data is trended to create personal baselines, with exceptions generating an immediate mobile alert to nurses, physicians, family members, etc. The transfer and delivery of all information is secure, private, and HIPAA compliant. The AFrame system is FDA cleared.
CATIE is a personal information center that provides Communication and Access to Information Everywhere. CATIE is an interactive multi-media device delivering information through a touch screen enabled kiosk. The in-room devices will enable facilities deploying this unique technology to provide an amenity that will enhance the daily lives of patients, their families and their caregivers.
