Dining Pink at Three RI Restaurants for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation
Im-aj Communications & Design creates co-marketing program for three Rhode Island restaurants and Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation
Providence, RI, February 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- It will all be about "pink specials" from now through March 15th at three Rhode Island restaurants as they support the work of the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and raise awareness about breast cancer. Patrons will have the opportunity to order from a special "pink menu" which will feature unique entrees, appetizers and/or desserts created by the chefs just for this promotion. $2 of any Dining Pink special ordered will be donated to the Foundation and in return patrons will receive a pink bracelet, or pin commemorating their support.
The participating restaurants are Deck FortyTwo (www.deckfortytwo.com), 28 Water Street, East Providence, 270-4245; Il Piccolo Ristorante (www.ilpiccolo_ristorante.com) at 1450 Atwood Ave., Johnston, 421-9843, and Z-Bar, 244 Wickenden Street, Providence, 831-1566.
Dining Pink is a program begun by Im-aj Communications & Design (www.imajcommunications.com), based in RI with offices in Kingston, Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut, as one of several initiatives to support the work of the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
Maria Gemma, Executive Director of the foundation said, "We are excited about the creativity of this program and thank the restaurant owners and chefs, and Im-aj Communications, for coming up with the idea and putting it together. When patrons dine at the restaurants they will leave with a pink Gloria Gemma bracelet or pin and the word will spread about breast cancer. But they will also be part of giving hope to the women and families we serve, and for that we are very grateful - so we encouarge everyone to eat at Deck FortyTwo, Il Piccolo Ristorante and the Z-Bar. Dining Pink ends March 15th - don't miss it!" www.imajcommunications.com
