Local Playwright Announces Cincinnati Dates for “In Love With Tyrone”
Ericka Nicole Malone kicks off seven city tour this fall at the Aronoff.
Cincinnati, OH, February 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Ericka Nicole Malone, an accomplished producer, director, writer and playwright, is launching her tenth stage play, “In Love With Tyrone”, this fall in Cincinnati’s Aronoff Center for the Arts. Malone’s seven city tour will start in her own backyard on October 14th and 15th, as the Cincinnatian moves throughout the Midwest.
“In Love With Tyrone” was written, directed and produced by Malone who also penned the music for the play. Malone and her cast tell the story of Danetta, played by Tasha Griffith, a driven attorney who falls in love with the wrong man, Tyrone, played by Brian Roberts.
Malone says, “This cast is a group of truly talented individuals whose passion and knack for storytelling is seen each night they are on stage. “In Love With Tyrone” will take audiences through every emotion and keep them guessing with original music and lyrics.”
“In Love With Tyrone” will make its way through the Midwest in a seven city tour this fall and early next year . Malone is also authoring a novel under the same name with a release date set for this year.
“The play tells the story of a woman’s struggle to find herself after she is betrayed by her husband,” said Malone. “The audience will experience the emotions that come with love gone wrong including passion, pain and redemption.”
