FRP Advisory Opens New Office in Bristol
FRP Advisory LLP, the specialist restructuring, recovery and insolvency firm, is expanding its national presence to the South West of England, with the opening of a new office in Bristol.
London, United Kingdom, February 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The firm, which is one of the largest independent specialist recovery firms in the UK, will provide its full range of business advisory and insolvency services from the new Bristol base.
Charles Turner, partner and location director for the Bristol office, comments: "This is an exciting move for FRP Advisory. Our new Bristol office in Stoke Gifford will enable us to work with a wider range of businesses in the South West of England and to better service our strong network of existing clients and contacts in the region."
Charles, who was recently appointed Deputy Vice President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association, a leading professional body in the field of insolvency in the UK, will continue in his role as FRP Advisory’s national head of personal insolvency and advisory, with the South West location now forming a regional centre for this service offering.
With extensive experience of corporate insolvencies, including acting as joint liquidator of a company within the Enron group, Charles has also recently led a number of independent business reviews, as well as restructuring and insolvency assignments in the professional practices sector. Whilst much of Charles’ experience has been London based, he has worked in the South West region for many years, with his home and roots having remained firmly in the West Country.
The new Bristol team will also include Gareth Morris, partner, and Stuart Jary, senior manager.
Gareth is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner, with extensive corporate recovery and insolvency experience as a director within a major international firm. In addition, he specialises in restructuring and solvent liquidations, with particular expertise in advising investment trusts.
Stuart is an ex-Big Four manager, who has worked in the South West for more than 15 years, specialising in large, complex bankruptcy cases and compulsory liquidations.
In addition, the new Bristol team will be able to draw on the expertise of colleagues based in a further eight locations across the UK, including a national business review and advisory group.
Charles adds: "FRP Advisory is already well established in many major regional business hubs across England. As Bristol is one of the leading cities in the UK and has become an important centre for the financial sector, intermediary advisers and owner-managed businesses, this is an ideal strategic move for us and we’re looking forward to growing our presence within the South West."
