Atlanta Journal-Constitution Columnist Jim Osterman Launches E-Book - "I Was Just Sayin’"
"I Was Just Sayin'" is a compilation of some of Jim Osterman's columns over the past five years and a portion of the proceeds will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Sandy Springs, GA, March 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Jim Osterman has published I Was Just Sayin' -- a compilation of some of the columns he has done for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and ajc.com over the last five years. The e-book is available through Amazon.com.
Jim started writing for the paper in the summer of 2005.
“The chance to be a columnist for the paper I literally grew up reading is without a doubt a dream job,” Osterman said. “I’ve traveled several different places and met a lot of characters but there truly is no place like Atlanta.”
Osterman’s family moved to Atlanta in 1956, two months before he was born. He flirted with the notion of leaving the state for his college years but ultimately stayed “home” by enrolling at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. After a ruthless self-appraisal of his acting talents he switched his major from theater to mass communications.
Since leaving school with his degree in 1978 he has written for radio, newspapers, magazines and briefly for a standup comedian. Jim and his wife Carol live in Atlanta with their dogs Sydney and Cody.
“Right now I’m working through Amazon, which will require a Kindle reader. If you don't have one there are free downloads of Kindle for PCs, Macs, iPhones, Blackberries and Androids,” Osterman said. “Coming soon will be Kindle for blow dryers, cordless drills and hand mixers for those who want to multitask.”
For every copy sold a portion of the proceeds will go to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
