CIO Canada Summit Announces Final Agenda Details
Honolulu, HI, February 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The CIO Canada Summit team announced today the final agenda details for the upcoming technology event, February 27 – March 2, 2011 at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Montreal, Quebec.
The CIO Canada Summit will bring together more than 50 CIOs and technology executives to network with their peers, attend in-depth educational sessions and discuss the IT issues currently affecting organizations. Attendees at the event will represent a variety of industries, including, but not limited to: healthcare, retail, finance, government, insurance and utilities.
The highly anticipated keynote panel discussion, Transforming the Organization by Realizing the Promise of Cloud Computing, will outline best practices and proven strategies for CIOs who are interested in or currently pursuing cloud computing projects at their organizations. Panel members currently include representatives from Trinity Western University, IBM, and PwC. The CIO Canada Summit Master of Ceremonies, Madhavi Mantha, Principal & Head, Banking Research, Novarica, will moderate the discussion.
In addition to the panel, a representative from IBM will also present the CIO Thought-leadership session, IBM's Transformation Journey - Becoming A Globally Integrated Enterprise. The session will discuss how major shifts in computing and globalization have reshaped the competitive landscape for organizations and outline how IBM’s business model, processes, supporting technologies and company culture has changed as a result.
