ASE Services Awarded Municipal Contract for a City in Alberta

Calgary, Canada, February 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- John MacDonald, President and CEO of Alberta Safety and Environmental Services (ASE Services), announced today that they have been awarded a municipal contract for a southern Alberta municipality to provide hazardous materials and indoor air quality services.

The two-year contract has ASE Services hired for all asbestos, mould, or hygiene needs, which may include assessments for specialized hygiene work and or assessments for indoor air quality as they pertain to mould or asbestos. Further, ASE Services will be responsible for the overall city management of any asbestos or mould issues, including consulting with contractors and the creation of reports monitoring potential concerns.

Within the contract, ASE Services will work primarily on buildings that are being renovated or scheduled for demolition by the municipal department. “As a company, we are excited to be hired for this contract; the hiring opens up potential business opportunities within other Alberta municipalities. With this said, this is a very large job, and one that will see us managing a number of different scenarios.
