Enabled and TIA Release Article on Merits of Android vs iPhone
Mobile expert, Grant Hull, compares iPhone vs Android in this month's TechState magazine - free access
Adelaide, Australia, March 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Adelaide-based digital media company, Enabled Solutions, have partnered with SA’s Technology Industry Association to publish a cover story comparing Android vs iPhone in the February issue of TechState Magazine.
Director of Enabled, Grant Hull, said: “It’s a very common question being asked by consumers, marketers, business owners and developers alike: Who will win between Android and iPhone?”
But it is also a complex question with no easy answer. How do you compare a mobile device with an operating system? “We had to consider many factors to help readers understand all the different forces at work,” Grant said.
Enabled are one of Australia’s biggest iPhone apps developer, but they are not going to limit themselves to iPhone applications. “We have been developing iPhone applications because they have had the biggest reach in Australia and therefore have represented the best mobile opportunity for our clients. But the Android user base is growing, and our developers are ready for it.”
With the news that Nokia is adopting Windows 7 as their operating system for smartphones, Grant warned that it also puts Windows in the running to be top dog.
