Dr. Jocelyn Mitchell-Williams Joins Family Service’s Board of Trustees

Mt. Holly, NJ, March 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Family Service is proud to announce Dr. Jocelyn Mitchell-Williams as the newest member of their Board of Trustees. With her recent appointment as Associate Dean for Multicultural and Community Affairs of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, and her impressive background in the medical field, Williams will bring a wealth of knowledge to the private, non-profit behavioral health organization.

Williams received her degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She went on to receive her M.D. at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of UMDNJ.

Along with her new position at the medical school scheduled to open in 2012, Williams continues to work as an attending physician with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Bob Pekar, president and CEO of Family Service says, “We are extremely confident Jocelyn will be a great asset to our Board of Trustees. Her extensive knowledge and experience will help us better serve the most vulnerable members of our community.”
