Developer Interface Unveiled for Postcode Anywhere Address Cleanser

Worcester, United Kingdom, March 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- High-growth software and services specialist Postcode Anywhere will include a programming interface with its new address cleansing software, Cleanse+. A demonstration of the software is available this week at London's Technology for Marketing and Advertising show (TFM&A), which enters its final day today.

The interface will allow developers to use Cleanse+ technology in their own projects. For most, this will involve customising the cleanser’s look and feel, or combining it with other services to create hybrid products.

Postcode Anywhere’s IT Director Jamie Turner said: “The application programming interface, or web service API, will give developers the power to customise the front-end of the data cleansing software, as well as use it in mash-ups and other web projects.

“Besides working incredibly hard to ensure the user interface for Cleanse+ is as intuitive, clean and simple as it can possibly be, we understand how important it is for developers to have some level of control over any product. This is why adaptable web service technologies are a core part of any Postcode Anywhere offering.

“For Cleanse+, the inclusion of a web service API is joined by a myriad of other features which we believe make the data cleansing service one of the most advanced in the industry. These features include self-learning technology which gives better results over time, and now, direct database connectivity, so users don’t even need to go to the hassle of saving and uploading files to the cleanser.

“Cleanse+ is a product we believe the address management industry has been crying out for since we first entered the market a decade ago. We hope we’ve largely met the demands of the market in its first iteration, launching at TFM&A this week, but will be constantly adding new features on a rolling schedule.”
