The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is Looking for Local Artists in the Sarasota, Florida Area

Sarasota, FL, March 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) announced today it is seeking local artists from the Sarasota area to contribute and showcase their talent by participating in the ABWA Sunrise Chapter's 17th Annual Runway Party to be held April 30, 2011.

The ABWA Sunrise Chapter's 17th Annual Runway Party is a fundraising event benefiting the ABWA Sunrise Scholarship Fund for women in need and pursuing higher education. Artists can get involved by either transforming the basic school bag into a work of art, expressing their own vision, or by teaming up with a local business sponsor, resulting in the creation of a collaborative piece.

“We are so excited about our upcoming 17th Annual Runway Party,” said Marcia Magus, of ABWA. “Every year we’ve had a fantastic runway event and this year promises to be even better. The artists are at the core of our success at the Runway Event.”
