Aran Insurance Services Group Announces Senior Management Additions

Rockville Centre, NY, March 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Aran Insurance Services Group announced today the appointment of Jim Henry as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of property and casualty operations and Kevin DeMoss as Vice President of Product Development.

In his role as CUO of Aran’s P&C operations, Henry will lead the development of new products, design and implement strategic initiatives for existing programs, and maintain relationships with carrier and reinsurance partners. He will report to John LaCava, President and CEO of Aran Insurance Services Group.

With more than 22 years in the insurance industry, Henry has proven commercial and agricultural underwriting and management experience. Previously, he served as RVP Manager of Farmers Union Insurance and President of QBE Agri Insurance. Henry also has held various senior management positions with OneBeacon Insurance and Great American Insurance Group. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and currently holds his CPCU, ARe, AIC, ARM, and AFIS designations.

Kevin DeMoss has over 25 years of commercial and agricultural underwriting and management experience in the P&C industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President of QBE Agriculture Product and Pricing and has held previous management positions with OneBeacon Insurance and Fireman’s Fund Insurance. He will report to Jim Henry. DeMoss earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., and currently holds his AIM and AFIS designations.
